The scientific director
Gianfranco Buccheri, MD, is presently the Director of the Group. He is mainly responsible for the CuLCaSG scientific production. Dr. Buccheri is a Thoracic Oncology Consultant at the S. Croce and Carle Hospital (Cuneo, Piedmont, Italy). |

Scientific Achievements
We investigates primary malignancy of the lung, posing questions on different clinical aspects of the diagnosis and treatment. The main areas of interest are tumor markers, pre-surgical staging of non-small cell lung cancer, chemotherapy of the inoperable disease, psychological issues surrounding the illness, and prognostic evaluation. |
